Sound Sorcery’s commitment to diversifying the live music scene extends to technical roles like sound engineering and live mixing. Every Sound Sorcery Jam night is live mixed by a female/gender-diverse sound engineer who also mentors aspiring sound technicians, providing training opportunities in a fun and encouraging space. Our free ’Introduction to Sound’ workshop provides a foundation for the four-event mentorship, and the program prioritises neurodiverse folks who may be experiencing additional barriers to entry.
